· Chemical fertilizers:
These fertilizers are divided into two groups, some of which are elements of plant or macro elements and some of them are elements of plant (micro element).
Macro elements include Nitro - Phosphorus - Potassium - Calcium - Magnesium
Microelements include iron - zinc - manganese - copper - boron
· Organic Fertilizer:
Any organic matter that can be degraded by germs can be used as an organic fertilizer. However, different organic fertilizers vary in quality and durability in soil and price. The main value of organic fertilizers is due to the physical changes they cause in the soil. Organic fertilizers can be divided into three groups of animal manure, green manure and compost.
The annual consumption of fertilizer in Iran is about 4 million tons, which is mainly consumed by nitrogen, phosphate and potassium fertilizers.
The main fertilizers used in Iran are urea, ammonium phosphate, potassium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, simple superphosphate and triple and phosphorus potassium superphosphate.
· Urea fertilizer:
Urea fertilizer, also known as sugarcane fertilizer, is one of the most widely used and cheapest nitrogen fertilizers in the world. The urea fertilizer is 2% nitrogen and has a good solubility in water, so it is suitable for fertilizer solutions.
Used in soil and foliar application on plants.
In the foliar application of the plant, the urea fertilizer may contain some bioreactor, which should not exceed a certain amount. The problem with urea fertilizer is that due to its high solubility, it is highly soluble in soil. That is, if the irrigation or rainfall is high and the soil is sandy, this fertilizer can be easily washed into the soil.
